It was regular ordinary day, as I sat in my seat with my seat belt fastened and the wheels of the plane just about to lift it to take off to Nairobi, Kenya. The pilot announces that the flight will be 3 hours from Ethiopia to Kenya. The plane’ s engines roar like a lion and were about to take-off VRUMMMMM!! We took off and I could not wait to get to Kenya already it was like another life and adventure was awaiting me. The seat was very comfortable and we were already 1 hour into the flight and the flight attendant was passing out drinks and I took one Coke and fell asleep. Bang! I woke up to a large sound three men entered the cockpit and injured a flight attendant and there was a lot of commotion throughout the aisles that they were hijackers …show more content…
I could not believe these hijackers ruin a perfect plane ride and all that happiness and hope all vanished into fear and anger and frustration to know what’s going on. Then all of a sudden an announcement came on and it did not sound like the pilots at all the announcer said “Your plane is being hijacked and we are diverting this plane to Australia and if anyone will interfere with our plans we have a bomb planted on the plane and we will blow this plane up”. At that moment once the announcement was over the whole plane was in panic if someone did one thing wrong they would blow the plane up, My body was about to burst in tears and panic, I could not believe this might be my last plane ride ever and I would never see my family again. I looked to my window we were still on the African coastline, maybe the pilot is not listening to the hijackers. The man with the gun was still walking around telling people to sit down and would keep on threatening to kill them every time. Another announcement came in now but this time it was the pilots who told us we were crash landing of the coast of the Comoros Islands which I knew were in between the African coastline and Madagascar. The view of the ocean getting closer and closer was nerve racking and I could not bare to look anymore the flight attendants tell us to get into the brace position the man with the gun tell’s them to “shut up”. I close my eyes and hope for the best BOOM CRACK SUUTTTTTTTTTTTER!!! the plane crashes and it breaks in half I blank out during the crash completely. I wake up and I hear a siren sound where was I asked my self. I open my eyes fully and see two people with me I thought I was in heaven for a minute with the angels. Once I wake up fully I realize I actually survived the crash and I was in an ambulance on the way to the Hospital. I had learned that I had broken my ankle and that all three of the hijackers were dead that was a relief. But one thing I can’t forget about this nightmare is I survived
