Somewhere in time, I need to have America get itself back on track again. I feel that American need to become aware of what we have become. I for one, feel the stress cracks in the American foundation of our founding fathers. Right now, in this moment of history, we have completely forgotten how to talk to each other, on the large issues looming over this great nation. This is OUR nation and it's a country that needs to get its act together. I get it, things get harder to see because of who we are. America has and probably will always be facing many things along its path. Throughout this semester I have learned and read about some of the ups and downs of America from 1492 to 1877. Everything that I have learned has shaped the world in its present time concerning some of the same problems faced back in the day. It’s so important that the younger generations know what happened so that we won’t repeat or be ignorant towards what happened during that time. As a people, we are constantly learning about different things, even about ourselves.…

In the past, Americans have prided themselves in living in one of the most unified countries in the world but lately it seems as if Americans are bitter and afraid. Our economy has been stagnant leaving many workers feeling desperate and insecure. Instead of coming together Americans have moved farther apart due to the inequality between the rich and the poor, racial tensions and political polarization. Political leaders have consistently broken promises they make to the people leading to even more distrust by the American people and is most likely the reason a man like Donald Trump was able to become president. Through all of these problems it seems as if politics has failed us and is not fixing anything.…

Our Future America To introduce myself I am Hayes Johnson and I am here to talk about concerns that I have with our future country run by Donald Trump. First off I want to say that I am very pleased to have Mr.Trump as our future president. One concern that I have is that because of “the wall” that Trump will supposedly build, I think that with future presidents of Mexico there may be conflict between the U.S. and Mexico. I fear that this will happen because maybe the next president of Mexico may not be as calm as the present Mexican President. Another concern of mine is that with Trump saying all of these expressions about bombing potential threats and terrorists, that maybe war will be a common thing for the U.S.…

America is a land of amazing and unique opportunities that are not available everywhere in the world. America has been called the land of prosperity and of opportunity. America’s name itself brings visions of hope, patriotism, and of new life. America is a great country, it has a rich history even though it is quite young. The country is bursting with patriotism, and America is touted as number one, but it’s not anymore. The United States has been a driving factor in spreading the idea of equal representation and freedom of democracy through a powerful military and economy. This has given the United States a part on the world stage, however, the spotlight has been slowly moving away. There had to have been one thing that changed.…

Sometime, I believe the existence of life is just a tragedy. It is not what happening to my life or to those around me that effecting me deeply – it is the external forces that I have no control over or the inability for me to make a different to the situation. Every day, I see bad things happen in the world, especially the thing that happen to the innocent children and the unborn babies. Granted, not all babies are cute or healthy when they were born, but nonetheless, they are innocents. Why do they have suffered at the hand of the adults: the one that created them, the one that meant to take care of them, the one that support to sacrifice for them?…

So it is clear that although America is the land of the free, a freedom to do what each person desires, America is becoming a nation of idiots, run by idiots for two main reasons. First, people prefer to be ignorant. But more importantly, society is wasting it's time with unimportant achievements, which is leading to a broken country that is falling from its long held position as the greatest country in the world. In addition, if the foundations of this country is damaged the rest of the country is going to be defective. This defectiveness will make everything crumble down at any second.…

America’s Gift To My Generation We can all justify that we as citizens are “free” but are you sure we are really free citizens I mean sure everyone can prove a thing or two that shows that there is freedom, but no one really knows what freedom is we just think what the government tells us,to go with it. If we are really “free” then why don’t we all have equal rights I mean it’s just common sense. People aren’t seeing it and it’s affecting the way we live not just here in America, but all around the world. Let’s take this for example a girl named Malala from Mingora Pakistan got shot in the head because she wanted to go to school and they wouldn’t let her because she was a girl now tell me that’s free rights!…

If America remains connections with Great Britain, trade would play the role of supplying America with the goods that are located around the world that wouldn’t be located in America. Therefore, if America separates then Americans will have to figure a way to supply resources that are not provided within the colonies. If trade would be cut off from Great Britain, it would more likely to be cut off from the rest of the world. As Charles Inglis explains that if we continued trade with Britain, Americans would not have to worry about invaders since we would be provided with the highest naval protection in the world. “By a connection with Great-Britain, our trade would still have the protection of the greatest naval power in the world.…
