Day 1
I recently went on a trip to Europe with my mom, dad, brother, grandma, and grandpa. It was like living out the movie National Lampoon’s European Vacation but with two more people. There was a window where we could watch him make the crepes in front of us and ordered from outside. I, having an obsession with Nutella, obviously ordered a Nutella crepe. I soon realized that it was a bad decision once I got melted Nutella all over my hands, jacket, and …show more content…
Mind you, it was around 6 pm and I have gone 24 hours with 4 hours of sleep, but I was in Paris for a short time and wanted to get as many things done as possible. After I took a shower, I sat on the couch watching French television while waiting for everyone else to get ready. The next thing I knew, my mother was waking me up. I was so confused and for some reason I thought it was the next morning. My mom told it was not. She told me that we both fell asleep on the wrong side of the bed and that we were going to the Eiffel Tower another day. I was really upset for a couple of seconds and then quickly drifted back to sleep.
Moral of the story: Jet lag sucks, don’t plan a lot on your first day, and don’t come to Paris on a
