I knew we arrived because I heard the lady in the GPS saying “You have arrived at your destination” and because the van stopped. I asked what time it was and my day answered two in the evening. It was nearly a 6-hour drive but it did not feel like it to me because I slept through the entire thing. We got everything out of the van. Everyone was tired and wanted to eat including me. We got out of the van to stretch and look around. A saw a beautiful large lake with nice looking water. We did not pick a place too far away from the van in case of an emergency that we needed to use it. It first I wanted to sleep in the van, where there are no mosquitos or flies but my parents told me that I should stay outside where there is fresh air. I realized we had to make a fire so I asked but none of us knew how but there was a small grill near were we where so that we can make hotdogs. It was about 70 degrees outside and to me, that is very hot. I wanted to get inside the van and turn the AC on but I already asked to go inside the van. My parents started making hot dogs on the grill. I was bored so I started to go and explore a little but not too far away from our camping site. I wanted to go to the lake so I went. I could tell that the dirt near the water was unstable because it was all muddy and the last thing I needed was that I fall into the water. It was not that the water was deep, it was actually very shallow, but the reason was that I did not want to come back being all soaking wet. My parents would surely ground me once we come back home so I tried not to go to the edge but suddenly, I felt my leg slipping down and the next thing that happened was I fell in. I got out as soon as possible but I was all wet. I knew I could not show up looking like this. My shoes were muddy and I could feel my socks squirting out water as I walked. I went back to the camping site trying not to let my parents see me but of course, they saw me. I did not get in
