Narrative Essay On A Birthday Game

It was me, my friends Jamieson, Matt, Kael, Kyle and Spencer at Jamieson’s Birthday Party. We were six energetic friends ready to have fun for the rest of the day. We started off the party by going outside and playing football. So we got on our shoes, ran out the door, and got the field ready. Football was fun, of course, but my friend Matt was acting rather annoying while we were playing, however it didn’t ruin the excitement. After two games of football, we came inside and played video games. After an hour we all got wore out of video games, and Jamieson decided “Hey, we should play with nerf guns!” which all sounded like a good idea to us, I mean, c’mon, shooting rubber bullets out of plastic guns that make cool noises? Sounds like an action-packed …show more content…
When we were all sitting down to rest and get a drink, the doorbell rang. Jamiesons dad answered the door, and when he walked back into the living room, there was no hiding the smell of greasy, cheesy, pizza. He sat the pizzas down on the kitchen table, to which we all came running towards. He followed back in with Mountain Dews and breadsticks in his hand. We were too busy shoving our faces full of pizza to even remember what we were doing 2 minutes ago, let alone even worry about it at the time. 2 and a half boxes of pizzas and 6 Mountain Dews later, we were all done. After we were all pretty full, Jamiesons dad brought in cake, which, even after having that much pizza, there’s still enough room for cake, and i’m sure i’m not the only one thinking that, seeing as we ate half the cake within 20 minutes. After we were done eating that, we gave our stomachs 15 minutes or so to settle. After waiting around, watching the TV for 15 minutes, we all got up and walked across the cold, hard, wooden floor, to play with nerf guns some …show more content…
We got on our shoes, coats, and grabbed our blankets and pillows. As we got to the camper I hopped onto the top bunk, hoping no one would get up here with me, but as I saw my friend Spencer ready to climb up, I knew I was sleeping on the floor the rest of the night. I got off the bed with my blankets and pillows, plopped them against the bathroom door, which if you wanted to go to the bathroom you had to go inside due to the fact that Jamieson’s dad didn’t want anyone using the toilet until Jamieson and his family were going camping, because they already cleaned the toilet. We layed there in the darkness of the camper as others slept on beds, I slept on the

Her dad came to the corner to pick her up and unexpectedly handed me a full pizza pie for everyone to share while Skylar was gone. The night went on, and the musical artist named Drake was playing a show at The Garden that evening.…

Our daily wiffle ball game was about to start. There was a wiffle ball game every evening behind the apartment complex I lived in. The game was played in a luscious green grass field with a monstrous hill in left field. The usual squad was myself, Ricky, Justin, Michael, Jonathon, Latrell, and occasionally Greg but his parents usually make him stay inside and play monopoly or some other dumb board game. Our teams were always different from the last game.…

On December 27th, 2007, me and a friend of mine were between 8-9 years old just 2 days after Christmas. We were excited to meet up and show off anything new we were blessed with 2 days prior to the incident. We were at his house playing with WWE action figures until he pulled out a pack of sparklers. This is when the real fun began and one by one we lit up a sparkler, poking holes in stuffed animals and having the irresponsible fun of playing with fire and fireworks. Back as a 9 year old, I thought we had it under control, nothing to be worried about because we knew how to use sparklers.…

Riley perched herself on the edge of the cabin bed, absentmindedly following routine and pulling on her combat boots, thick and heavy, ready for fighting. Moonlight was seeping through the gaps in the blacked out windows; there was a gentle spring breeze making its way through the log cabin walls. She was small for her age of 14 but she had strength and speed on her side. Riley could hear the other campers singing around the campfire and the subtle smells of burnt sugar from the marshmallows being roasted outside.…
