Introduction-- main claim What would you do if you were found guilty for a murder you did not commit and you were sentenced to prison for life?.That was the case for 17 year old adnan syed he was found guilty for the murder of 18 year old hae min lee. At the time they were both attending Woodlawn high school near Baltimore, Maryland at the time they were boyfriend and girlfriend but i will get to that later. I personally believe that adnan syed was guilty for the murder of hae min lee on the night of january 13 1999. One reason i believe this is i think he was jealous of haes new boyfriend so he decided to kill her.

Paragraph #2 Adnan syed was friends with former high school student jay wilds who also went to the same school as adnan. Jay wilds was a witness to what happened to hae because at the time Jay Wilds was adnan inside man. Jay confessed to the cops that adnan was guilty.I believe his story to prove that adnan is guilty because Jay had said he saw hae min lee's body in the back of her truck in the bestbuy parking lot. Another reason i believe he is guilty because there was inconsistencies in adnan story.

So another piece of evidence that convinces me that Adnan is guilty because in the podcast is was proving that the location of the cell towers were pinging where the phone calls were being made were not matching the time on the call log that they had. The police had a call log for every call made by Adnan on that day. However, the time of when the calls were being made did not match the location on where the phone calls were being pinged by the cell

Sadly this was not any ordinary day when the afternoon came around and Hae went missing. This was undoubtedly a horrible tragedy but the evidence will strongly support that Adnan Syed is not guilty. I believe that Adnan Syed is guilty of the murder of Hae Min Lee because of what he had told 4 of his friends and he said that she had broken his heart and was feeling sad. The first reason I believe Adnan is guilty is the breakup that Adnan and Hae had. This reason makes sense because Adnan was feeling heartbroken and that he had told 4 of his friends that he was going to kill Hae. This part of the story is when Adnan’s friends got interviewed by Sarah Koenig and said the same thing Adnan had told Jay and his friends “I’m going to kill Hae.”…

Why should Adnan Syed be considered innocent? In this investigation, a man named Adnan Syed was accused of murdering his girlfriend, Hae Min Lee. His old best friend Jay, said he witness the dead body of Hae after Adnan killed her. Adnan should be considered innocent because, during the murder of Hae, Adnan was seen at the library by Asia Mclean, wasn’t that upset about the breakup, and was a smart student who wouldn’t kill anyone after they broke up. First, Adnan is innocent because Asia Mclean and her boyfriend saw him at the library.…

Is Adnan Syed really guilty of murdering Hae Min Lee? He was no where to be seen on August 13, 1999 between 2:15 and 2:36 p.m. Adnan had reason to kill her after he and Hae broke up a few months prior. For instance, Adnan would have given up everything to be with Hae and breaking up with him meant that he would lose everything. In other words, Adnan got mad and killed Hae for leaving him.…

Although I believe Adnan is Innocent because none of the other suspects are more involved than Adnan , some may argue he is guilty because they believe that Jay that Adnan killed her and some say that they knew it was him because the type of person he is . This reason makes sense because Jay said that Adnan was guilty and when Don was in trial, he said good things about Adnan and that he was a good person and after trial one of the jurors told him why didn’t he talk bad about Adnan . This part of the story is when Adnan asked Hae for a ride, and it could’ve been a reason to get in her car and try kill her . “Adnan told him he’d asked her for a ride . Adnan later told a different cop he didn’t ask for a ride” .…

In Baltimore Adnan Syed was known for the most part as the nice, sweet, charming guy that is incapable of committing murder. Where as Jay Wild was known as more of the “bad boy” dealing drugs and was someone you would not want to mess with. Some peers also noted that he was one to fabricate stories so knowing when he was telling the truth could be a hard task. With two outstanding different reputations the setting helped the audience lean in favor of the villain, Adnan. Accusing Jay of lying was an easier coping mechanism than accepting the fact someone like Adnan was capable of murder.…

Adnan Syed - Guilty Ever since “The Judiciary Act of 1789”, the United States courts system has been accurately convincing some of the most ruthless and dangerous criminals the world has seen. It has been able to accurately distinguish the difference between innocent and guilty and kept lying criminals from escaping unscathed. The case of Adnan Syed is no different, even though Serial a podcast series narrated by Sarah Koenig may suggest differently. It is evident that Adnan is culpable of killing his ex girlfriend Hae Min Lee because his claim of innocence just does not make sense, and the fact he has a reasonable motive makes him very suspicious; that combined with a witness named Jay, who was willing to testify against his good friend…
