Its projected in 2014 a mass of 21.0 million student 's are to further their academic lives in American universities and colleges and I was one of the fortunate ones to choose to advance my educational experience. I entered this English Composition one course with the thought so long as I let the word 's flow out using a source which has been called a “Stream of Conscious” I wouldn 't have any difficulty. Only to learn the hard way that these form 's of writing are unacceptable. To add strain to the already dire situation, the source of information I use “Wikipedia” is also invalid. How do you tell a story, with out telling it? This was a question I really grappled with and I still am, I understand it more as leaving pieces for people to follow, but how does a narrator tell a story without them getting lost? It would have to be an effective story telling and this would be leaving the correct clues as using precise information something I am beginning to grasp. A Narrator can guide the reader without telling the story by leaving a trail of bread crumb 's. My biggest problem with my 3-3 was I couldn 't focus my narration on a single event, but rather a sequence of event 's in the same situation. As I did much better in the revised version by narrowing it down it was still in two piece 's, it was considerable improvement none the less …show more content…
Using Wikipedia as my most go to source for information I 've learned the hard way that this source of information is not acceptable because its references aren 't professional 's or expert 's all the time, but mostly just people who report information. I 've now had the difficulty of finding legitimate sources of information most of the time I would just find question and answer websites of collaborative people who don 't specialize in the field but rather have the knowledge of the question and enough to answer it. Since my report was government related it was slightly easier to find sources using government sites. If my report had been about a non government related issue I can 't fathom what would of
