"Well I learned Vietnam is really dirty and it kind of smells bad. It's really hot, it's 100% humidity like it's really bad. You walk outside and it's like hard for you to breathe." Elizabeth laughed as she told me, "I learned that Vietnam, like Asian countries probably aren't for me because I'm more of a like not-so-hot and like that. I don't like to sweat!" Elizabeth was able to find out places that she enjoys and places that she might not want to travel to based off her experiences in those other countries. She had told me about how traveling to different places makes her more willing to try different things. Elizabeth's father, Scott Conner, told me that she hates trying new food because she is very picky, but while they were in Vietnam she did venture out and try their famous pho. Elizabeth talked about traveling to the East side of Washington State, only 8 hours away from home, but that trip is very dear to her. She travelled to Pullman WA for FFA State. "I like doing or being involved in FFA. It's fun. We do a lot of fun fundraisers and we practice for food science and then we get to go to state. States really fun. And then we compete, and I just like it." FFA is something that Elizabeth loves to be involved in, and she explained how she learned a lot from her experience at state. "State convention is at WSU and it is so pretty there. My food science team and I got to go explore the campus after we competed, and we got to see so many cool things. We went into the library, and the football fields! We also stayed in dorms and that was an awesome
