Since the last time I wrote a journal, I have finished reading Richelle Mead’s Shadow Kiss. This story is about the main character, Rose, and how she has to research deeper into her mind to figure out why she feels all sorts of emotions, what her fate is, and why the Queen’s nephew, Adrian, keeps telling her she has a ‘dark aura’ around her. Rose, in addition, has to make sure her best friend, Lissa, is okay through their magical bond, which allows Rose to see what Lissa can see. This is a dystopian story, about vampires and their guardians. The second half of this book is about how Rose comes to a conclusion about her fate.…

Rose is a strong woman who had faith in all her trial that she faced as a child and adult. She knew what she went through and did not want her children to go the through the same process. She worked hard even in her critical condition of her illness. Her motherly love for her children was so passionate that she wanted to have a good background of an upbringing for them.…
