Summer Break More times than not, when you return to school from summer break, a commonly asked question is, "Did you have a good summer?" Clearly this isn't a bad question to ask, but when summer break was terrible, sometimes it's easier to just answer the question with a response as simple as: "Not too bad" or "Pretty good", that usually saves you from having to answer even more questions that you would have been asked if you were to say that you didn't have a good summer. Trust me, that does not make my family perfect by any means, nor does it make any family perfect. Every family has its flaws; some more than others. Are you aware of what the true definition of perfection is? Perfection is: "The condition, state, or quality of being free or as free as possible from all flaws or defects." No one knows what goes on behind closed doors, they only know as much as what is told. The love that we once had for each other, turned into war. Siblings are going to fight and argue, that's just how it is, but this was way more than that. Aside from all of the drama that went on between co-workers, my dad found out that his wife, my mom, had been cheating on him with a cook that works at the cafe with both her and my dad, almost daily. My parents had been together for over seventeen years; therefore I could only imagine how hard it was to get that news. I don’t know if he just didn't want to believe it, if he was in denial or all of the three. He would listen, but it was almost as if you were talking in one ear and it was going right out the other.
