‘’Pass, Pass!” The other team called to each other. It was cold, and early in the morning and I had to play in a soccer game, but I was having a lot of fun. I did my best to block all of the other team’s sneaky passes. Also, I wanted to try to score a goal today.

The opposite team was passing the ball around my team trying to swerve around us , but I stuck my foot out very quickly trying to block the ball from heading towards the net.

I caught the ball with my foot but had very little control because the other team was surrounding me like wild, angry animals.

I very quickly sprinted through them and headed down the field toward their net. I saw their defence shuffling their feet getting ready to try to stop me. One of the people that

I was still trying to get a little bit closer to the net. Your close enough. I thought to myself. I was anxious and nervous. I took one quick giant breath through my nose and out of my mouth turning the small air that came out of my mouth into a small cloud of white fog.

‘’SHOOT THE BALL!’’ One of my teammates called out to me anxiously.

I swung my foot back away from the ball and quickly pushed my foot forward powerfully hitting the ball with my shoelaces of my right foot. My heart thumped out of my chest as it felt like everything was in slow-motion. I watched their goalie leap towards the top corner where the ball flew into the net. All of the sudden, I heard wild cheering and clapping from the sidelines. I made it in the net and scored! My teammates ran up to high-five me.

I was having so much fun, but the other team was already up by two points and it was the last quarter of the game! The other team had the ball and was dribbling the ball down the field, when a player on my team snatched the ball from them and kicked the ball down the field very hard. I had just entered my junior year in high school and was back to playing football, my grades were good so far and my A.D.D. medication was helping me a lot. Zach and I had just arrived at the union school for a junior varsity game against Oceanside high school, we geared up and got ready for the game. I started the game at quarterback and the game wasn't going well for us, which didn't come as a surprise because jv games are never enjoyable. I took the snap and rolled out to the left side of the field, no one was open so I tucked the ball under my arm and started to run up field, I had room to move, suddenly a linebacker running at me from my side started to shorten up his steps and set himself for a tackle, he tackled low but I…

I got into line, we stretched in two lines. " OKAY GUYS LETS DO THIS," said Taylor, she was the leader of our team because she was a very confident and bold person which my coach John liked. We started to stretch, we had a routine that we always did.…

It was a normal day around 10:00 A.M. when I had the first soccer game of the season. The air was cool with crisp morning dew across the grass. We were going against the C.S.L Stingrays (Chesapeake Soccer League). It was different now, instead of 7 players on the field it was 11 players, instead of a smaller field it was bigger, along with the field, the goals were also larger. With this much people and this big of a field, you couldn’t dribble a ball all the way down and score.…
