Personal Narrative: The Ride

The Ride: Man, I love snuba. My step brother Eldan and I, and my stepmom Kristina and my Dad walk out of the translucent, automatic doors at a rushing pace with our touristy looking outfits. As we walk out from underneath the shaded area, the sun pounds down on the four of us as if it was 200 degrees outside. If it wasn’t for the SPF 35, we would’ve been tomatoes. We panted as we approached the bus which felt like an oasis brushing across our faces. We sat, crammed into the bus like a clown car, while feeling each and every frizzy hair on the person next to us. After an hour, which seemed like a year, we arrived to our destination, the dock. I am thankful that I’m going snuba diving because it showed me that in life, you must relax.

We went to swim towards the coral reefs. They lie there beautifully, with a variety of colors blue, green, yellow, and a little bit of pink. The fist that swarmed it gave it more color: white, black, orange, and red. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my entire life. After exploring the reef, we decided to just swim around in open waters, but before we left the coral reef I scraped my hand on some of the coral.
Jaws:
We to tried start doing tricks like touching the bottom. Touching the bottom ended up being a task because there was a 25ft cable allowing us to breath. I looked at my Dad and Kristina to see what they were up to since I had seen little motion from them in the few minutes. They were signaling me something, it looked as if they were putting a fin on their head. I didn’t remember what that sign meant until I saw a shaded figure in the distance. I thought to myself SHARK! My dad and kristina signaled me to swim towards the top.
Rush:
I swam so hard my chest hurt twice as much.We took off our masks and swam as hard as we could towards the boat. The boat seemed a mile away, it took forever to get there. At certain points, it felt like we were just treading water. Eventually, we reached the boat to be welcomed by the other

The major conflict in this novel is how diving turned out to be an unforgivable force that took away a father and his son. On a rough day out at sea, Chris Rouse and his son Chrissy were deep diving to a German U-boat that was recently discovered off the coast of New Jersey. They were very excited because they were one of the first people to be down there and the first to have a chance of identifying the submarine. That day, waves were as high as six feet and the a storm was quickly approaching. Chrissy decided to back out of the dive, only to be pushed by his father.…

Sit back, buckle up, and get ready to scream because I love roller coasters. My family and I go to Cedar Point about every month in the summer, and my dad and I go and ride everything in the park. It is just so fun! The one thing I really like about roller coasters is that there are little rides for the youth kids also. My least favorite thing is when I am not tall enough to enjoy a ride, which doesn’t really occur anymore.…

I took advantage of the moment and the Officer Jose Garcia took me to a mini tour of the area. During the wait a citizen came to make a report, Officer Garcia did not use codes but asked her some questions and said it was a lost property report. She went to report that she had lost her wallet, she had forgotten it on the bus, she realized that she had lost it a day later and she waited a week to report it.…

It was a hot summer, sunny day in Florida usually like most others but today was special. I was going deep-sea fishing for the very first time, my mom told me to put on a lot of sunscreens, so I don’t get sunburn. My family and I got dressed and got into the car and made our way for Pompano Beach pier, where the charter boat would be leaving from. We all packed into the boat like a can of sardens, the captain started the engine and we looked over at the glistening deep blue ocean, the seas where calm, when we arrived at the fishing spot the mates gave us fishing poles and told us to drop the baits in the water, a few seconds later the rod is bent over and the line is screeching like crazy, my parents and the captain start yelling at me to reel…

As a child growing up in Rhode Island, the smallest state in the Union, the idea of a vast planet brimming with civilization and culture was more like something out of a fairy tale than it was reality.
