She ordered her Huntsman to find Snow White and kill her. The Huntsman followed Snow White into the woods one day, and he almost got to her until she turned around and saw him. The naive Huntsman explained to Snow White that the Queen had ordered him to kill her because she was so beautiful.
“Why would you allow her to order you around and treat you like property? You are human! Everyone should be treated equally”, exclaimed Snow White.

After what seemed like forever, Snow White took the apple and she thanked the lady. When the old woman had asked Snow to take a bite of the apple is where Snow White drew the line at. She became wary of the lady’s intentions and regretted opening the door in the first place.
“I don’t feel comfortable with what you’re asking me to do!” Snow White announced timidly.
“One little bite won’t hurt dear.” the woman insisted.
“No means no, please respect my decision.” declared Snow while shutting the door on the old hag. She knew a thing or two about sanitizing produce before eating, so she took the apple to the sink to wash it. But that wasn’t enough to wash away all of the poison from the apple’s outer rind. After she had gone to take a generous bite out of said apple, she dropped to the floor and fell into a deep sleep. The evil queen left without compunction.
