With the help of social media marketing and word of mouth our business grew from INR 10,000 to INR 1.07 Lakhs in a period of four months. Today 19 women work at Snack Shack and we cater to small parties and carnivals. The women associated with Snack shack utilized their earnings to pay for extra tuitions for their children, some of them even started investing in baking classes so they could start small ventures of their own. I am really proud of this accomplishment of ours and the financial security it gave to my mother and all the women working with us. We had to come up with an idea, to be implemented across Keynote that would help us increase the revenue from our existing customers. I planned on an initiative to map my team to the Renewal Account Managers to help them with the renewals. This wasn’t going to be easy, as we had to manage this initiative with our existing workload. We had a lot of homework to do like update ourselves with the competition as the acquisition had not only raised speculation in the company but also among our customers. The mapping initiative was a huge success as it made the customer feel closer to Keynote as they were getting personal attention from the dedicated technical point of contact. The management at Keynote eventually heard about this initiative and wanted to have chats with our team to learn about the strategies we applied to retain and grow customers. Though the process of getting heard was slow it happened with a great effect. Our team got the due recognition and we were also appreciated for the impact we were making on the revenue and reputation of the company. I was not only promoted to be the Senior Customer Success Engineer but it was more than a surprise when I was awarded the Outstanding Team Player ,for the second time in December 2014 for bringing the team together and keeping the India operations
