For the whole of the procedure, and this goes fast.

Legaly not sound, you cannot put people in detention like that, no clear reason, and limited access to legal advice, is a big problem

At the moment a transition, Greek government intent to take over all the structures, and we see a cut in the available legal aid, too little lawyers, dimidshes the quality of the asylum procedure.

Intentions of the Greek government

Intention of the Greek government to take over the procedures? Officialy, the Greek government intended to take over by the end of July, would still be in cooperation with NGO's, but they would take over. Do see some changes, like medical assistance in Moria Camt has gone from NGO personel to governmental institutions. But too little docters and nurses. In reality we see a lot of gaps when the government takes over? NGO's worried about,

Our camp completely full, we as an informal structure. In exisiting platfoms of NGO's, it is clear that we are still needed.

Caritas for example will close its shelter this month. Don't know who will fill these gaps.

What after the asylum

On the night of March 12th, 1942 my family and I were sound asleep. Suddenly, the door crashed open and we were awakened by four discordant German officers. Leaving all our precious belongings behind, we were forced to board the cattle cars of a train. Terrified, my family along with hundreds of others were crammed into the overflowing railroad cars. Fear filled all our eyes as we realized our gruesome destination was Auschwitz, the largest concentration camp in Europe.…

All I wanted to do was enjoy my day on a Freshman retreat to Camp Tekawitha. On a hot day I got back from my retreat around 5:10. Jaclyn and I talked to our coach two days before the retreat and told her that we would be getting back around 5:00 and probably won't be able to make it to practice. We told our coach around 5:00 because our teachers didn't know exactly what time we would be getting back to school. Since practice was over at 5:30, Jaclyn and I thought it wouldn't be necessary to go to practice.…

The Holocaust Genocide took place when Adolf Hitler came to power and decided that he was going to blame everything relating to their economic troubles, on the Jews. Hitler had an army of people under his control known as the “Nazi Party” that were willing to do anything he wished, such as forcing the Jews that resisted to go to the camps. The camps that they were placed in were referred to as “Concentration Camps.” In these camps the Jews were forced to work and if there was any resistance as far as doing what they were told, they were killed. After the Holocaust ended, there was around six million dead Jews, one million of which were children.…

Allies Liberation of Concentration Camps Unfortunately the Holocaust was one of the darkest moments in human history, showing the negative capability of oppression and hate directed towards a group of people. The Holocaust represented the ultimate depths of human morality and just how far it can carry and pile on, each action by the Nazis more evil than the last. For many the liberation of Nazi camps by the Allies could not have come sooner. World War II had devastated just about every corner of the world, taking over 60 million lives, 11 million of those came within Nazi camps.…

For the past 6 years of my life, I have gone to a sleepaway camp in Burnet, TX called Camp Longhorn Inks Lake. There are many enjoyable traditions at Camp Longhorn. Some of the\ traditions are the mile swim, campfire lighter, early bird, fun day, frog girl day, and marine/marina mud. Although these traditions are great fun, but none of them can compare to the most memorable tradition at Camp Longhorn, Church Mountain. Thanks the Texas Exes alumni, I was able to go to Camp Texas for free this year. At first I thought that it was like any normal 3- day camping trip, which made me extremely excited since I enjoy camping very much. Once I got there, I realized that it was a different type of camp. I was nervous and scared because I’m not very good at socializing. The reason I’m writing this is because I learned so much about being open minded, accepting, and kind to other people and new experiences.…
