Narrative Essay About My Game Of Love

I never knew love was like an I spy book. You have to look for it because sometimes it might just be with someone you never expected to know or feel that way about. Well this is my story of a victory loss. My game of love. Love was in the air. It was like every breath of air you took in; along you took the need of someone’s company. People say that February is the month of love, but if anything for me it didn’t start out like that. The day that I thought the boy of my dreams and the boy I had been crushing on since the first day of my freshman year was finally going to ask me to prom. I was shocked to find out how that day really ended. It was a month before the dance. I had planned everything out. I had the perfect dress that …show more content…
We both have forensics this period which is the only other class we have together besides our 1st period which he loves to show up late too even though his house is in a 5 mile radius to the school, so I don’t understand how he’s always late. Being the goof he is he reached out one of our hallway windows and picked a flower from the bush and gave it to me. I just smiled stupidly and said nothing. The bell rang and we sat down. Thankfully we had assigned seats because I don’t think I would’ve been able to concentrate with him next to me. It didn’t help that the entire class period we were sending each other pictures. I got up to go get a drink when a boy named Luke walked up to me. I didn’t really know who he was but I saw him in the hallway every now and then. “Wow” he said with his mouth basically jaw dropping. It took me a quick second to realize he was talking to me. He asked me to dance but just then before I had a chance to answer Tyler came up to me and said “hey”. Me being the idiot just stood there smiling and said nothing. He offered me to dance and since I wasn’t saying anything I just nodded my head and he took my hand. That night I felt special. Like nothing I had ever felt. We must of danced the entire night because I just didn’t want to let go of him. I couldn’t believe I was at prom with my best friend. That night I did it. I asked him out and before answering he just looked at me and kissed me. I took that as a yes anyways. We had become closer ever since that day. We were always going on crazy adventures. Going to the park. Gazing at the stars. We even took walks into the woods to our special spot of the best view of the animals. One time we went we even almost got lost. I don’t know why I listen to him sometimes, but I thought it was pretty
