Personal Narrative: My First Fight

The first fight for anyone is a new feeling, it gives you a rush like you never felt before. When getting into your first fight you don’t think of the things that could happen or what would it be like if you lose this fight. These are the things I should have thought about before I took it upon myself to enter my first fight. My first fight was no big versus little guy it was an average kid fighting an average kid kind of fight, but I will say I wish I knew more about the kid and thought more of the after effect of a fight. Before I go anywhere with this story I will say I lost this fight and I lost it days before it started.
The start of it all, when a fight comes to happen it not someone who woke up with it in their mind that they want to fight it’s a buildup and me and this kid, whose name is Jacob, had been building up to this fight for over a week now. You might say that’s not a long time but we were kids one hour was equivalent to a full day to us. Now as kids we had no real reason to fight but as normal people when we felt a way we had to express it, the base of this whole fight was because I told Jacob I didn’t like his shirt, a mistake I wish I never made, me saying this

I thought I would be another day of us sharing mean looks at one another and that would be it. This day was the day that Jacob had enough of waiting for my move and decided to take action the next time he got it, the fight started when our lunch break ended. Now like I said before you should think of what would happen if you lose the fight and what can happen during it, this fight is where I learned those things. The fight was about to happen but right before the hands were thrown I heard a kid in the back yell "Go, Jacob, show him your new karate moves since you’re a black belt". When that karate line was said I knew then that I had made a mistake by letting this

In Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie by David Lubar, the scene I choose for the rewrite in another character’s point of view is the one when Vernon attacks Scott from behind while Kyle and Kelly watched. This was on page 244. I choose this scene because there is so much action and I feel I can write about this scene because so much occured. The original scene is told from Scott’s perspective. Now, the perspective I will be writing it in is Vernon’s; so, we will get his perspective.…

Has anyone ever wondered, what will I get out of this fight? No one really does until after, because in that split second there becomes a problem and there is no time to think. In The Outsiders that thought wasn't brought up either. In the end fighting was not worth the result they got. Bob died because of fighting, Ponyboy got brain damage and is failing classes, and pressure from fighting was a reason that Dally committed suicide.…

I then walked over to the 4 foot 8-inch frame of Scott and punched him right in the jaw. He flopped to the ground harder than Daniel getting checked in AE hockey. My shirt sleeves had ripped off at this point from my massive muscles flexing with that hard punch. Scott slowly got up to his feet but was more disoriented than a blind three legged dog. Once he finally got it together he started screaming like a middle-aged woman at her son's house league soccer game.…

Halloween is like a horror movie, except with drunk teenagers instead of axe murders. It was about two years ago, when we were still living in Germany. It was a fairly peaceful Halloween night and the sun was about to set. My friends and I were walking around the village, what Germans call a town. After about half an hour of us walking around and talking, some acne filled, tall, muscular and older, German teenagers came up to us.…

This time I was going for my first belt test. I looked towards the center, there sat 6 judges, each with a pencil and paper. In an attempt to remember everything I learned in class I began to run through the combinations in my mind; punch, punch, duck, wait or was it duck, punch, punch. I sat there waiting for my turn fearful that I was going to mess up. As I grew more anxious the other combinations seemed to mix together.…

Memoir I am not a bad kid but in the past I have done some questionable things such as things that followed the guidelines of fists and bruises but I am going to tell you the story of when I got into my first fight. This story is kicked off by saying it was my first day of middle school in gym class when I decided try to smart mouth off to one of the new kids I was paired up with which probably was my first mistake, Never smart mouth off to a eighth grader that is heavier than you. To protect the antagonist’s identity I will call him fart knocker; I was sitting in the locker room changing out of my P.E. clothes when fartknocker thought it would be funny to take his axe deodorant and spray all over my clothing.…

“So are we going to do this or what?” I asked mustering up all the confidence I had left when out of nowhere I am punched from the side. Jordan had broken away from the pack and punched me right in the side of my face, and that is when it all turned. I filled with anger from everything that they have done to me since the beginning of freshman year, it had all built up to this moment just to explode like a volcano. I saw red and was throwing punches like my life depended on it, it felt so good to be on the better end of things.…

At a younger age, I would say I believed that I can only trust myself and my mother, this is because as a little kid my mom would always tell me that there are bad people in the world and that giving them any information about anything can be very harmful. But as I grew up and realized what was actually happening in my country I knew there were millions of others that were suffering against the “bad people” and we could only do something about it if the whole community came together to help. It was at that time when I was about 25, when I started to put some effort into trying to establish more just conditions within my country especially after the implication of extremely high food prices. This is when I started my first strike involving my…
