“The Bible will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from the Bible.” This quote was from a man named Dwight L. Moody, a publisher and the man who started the Moody Church. There is a place in Lawton, Michigan who helps us to go away from sin, walk away from temptations, run away from the devil, and sprint to the bible. For the past two years, I am so extremely ecstatic to say I go to Miracle Camp, a year-round retreat camp focussed on helping kids, families, and couples, to grow their unending passion for Christ. While they love having fun, they honor Christ in everything they do! It has truly been a life changer for me and my spiritual life, and there is no other camp I would rather go to!

The first year I was there, I had a counselor named Maddy, and assistant counselor, Ginny. I really bonded well with Mandy, but I would have to say Ginny and I had an outstanding time together. She really united with me, and Miracle Camp has people like that and it makes the week so astonishing! The second week I was there, I had Hannah for my counselor and my assistant counselor was Audrey. I can say that that week was one of the most overwhelming and outstanding weeks of my life! I adore Hannah so much! The two of us could chat for ages and never get bored. She really helped me with my walk with Christ, and she was a tremendous advisor to me. Although I bawled many times to her about my life, she was always there with ways to make it ok again. She helped me find a better way to Christ, helped me understand what He wants from me as a Christian, what I was doing wrong as a Christian, and that as a Christian my walk with Him wasn’t good. She changed my life, and ultimately wanted my life to point to the Lord. I asked Christ again into my heart that night and I could feel so much weight off my shoulders. I could feel the spirit there with me along with Hannah, and the feeling I had at that moment was like an inhaler, all the imperfections of myself would drown out with God’s incredible flawlessness.
