When they told me that I was very excited, and relieved that it went well. I told them I could start at any time; so they had me start on September 12, and my daily routine changed starting from that day forward.
So I went in, for orientation on September 12, and they gave me a tour and explained everything I needed to know. They told stuff like where the break room is, the claims area, and how the store is laid out. It was a lot to take in at one time, but I knew overtime I would have everything figured out.
I was training to become a cashier so a lot of the things related to the back room had nothing to do with me, but a good thing to know. I am the type of person that likes to try to know as much as possible; so knowing about the back room helped with helping customers on the floor.
Getting my first job was exciting and nerve wracking. I was nervous because I never have done it before, and exciting because it was the next stepping stone in my life. Through this experience I have learned how to deal with the public, and express
