It was 2005,Hurricane Katrina was about to hit.My family and I prepared for the storm.It would have been a perfect until we lost a dog.
“Lets the dogs out” my Mother ordered,me I did as she requested and let the dogs outside.
As I looked outside I saw the wind picking up and the clouds began to join together, and soon they covered our small house in the suburbs.
“Mom,it looks bad outside do we let them in?” I’d ask waiting for a reply but she wasn’t paying any attention while she started to prepare for the storm. Ten minutes have passed and the dogs are still outside, my mother finally told me to let the dogs inside.
“Let the dogs inside now, the storm is going to hit soon we don't want our dogs outside right now.”
I did as she ordered
