It was a scorchingly hot day so I feel like we didn't get to appreciate the park fully, but the museum was air conditioned so we could concentrate for longer than 10 seconds. The museum is somewhere I think everyone should visit, it can be very upsetting but I think everyone should see first hand how destructive nuclear weapons can be. We speant about an hour in the museum and read about people who were killed by the atomic bomb and also we heard recordings made by survivours. Many people were affected by the radiation after the bomb and still suffer today. The A-bomb dome is an interesting structure as well, it stands out dramatically in a city that mainly consists of newer buildings. It is especially beautiful at night from the bridge. We were lucky as the flat that we were staying in was just the other side of the bridge so we were able to see it both
