From all the traits I had I chose to write my story over happiness. The reason why I choose happiness is because this trip was fun and spending time with my family makes me happy. It was fun to just get out of Sioux Falls for a while to just spend time with my family. One of the time I had happiness is when I went on vacation to Spearfish and to Rapid City for a family vacation. I went with my whole family plus my grandparents came with too. My whole family and I got to see my older sister there because she was going to school there. It was my first time going to Rapid City and Spearfish. We stayed Spearfish for about a week. We got out and walked around and also took pictures. Then we went to see Mount Rushmore. I thought Mount Rushmore was super cool. After Mount Rushmore, we went to pick up my sister at school. My sister and I hung out at the cabin, and we went to walmart. It was really nice to spend some quality time with her. I don’t get to see her often. We also went to a buffalo roundup, it was very cold day and morning. It was really cool to experience that with my whole family. We went to see different sites in Spearfish Canyon. We went to Fish hatchery, we saw different fish history museum. The sightseeing in Spearfish was neat to see all the different things. We stayed at a cabin in Spearfish. At the cabin we had some excitement because my family slept upstairs and my grandparents slept downstairs. When we got ready for bed, we were upstairs, my parents, my brother, my sister and I. My grandparents were downstairs. My grandma yelled for my dad. She yelled “Jerry come down here” we all through something happened, but come to find out it was just stars on the wall. We got to see stalagmites, stalactites, flowstones, chandeliers and soda straws. We took lots and lots of pictures because if I didn't slow my family, I feel like they wouldn't have believed me. We spent about half our day there, and then after that she took me to the San Antonio Zoo. That zoo was humongous, way bigger than the one in the valley. I saw monkeys, elephants, rhinoceros, lions, zebras, and even penguins.…

The people in Fahrenheit 451 seem to be happy, but are unsatisfied with themselves deep inside showing that in order to be truly happy people need to be able to think on their own. Scientifically, happiness is satisfaction, positive feelings, and a lack negative feelings (Porter 459). Most of us can agree with this statement and acknowledge that they feel the most happiness in these conditions, but what exactly is happiness? “For if happiness is what people strive for, one needn’t waste time trying to figure out what makes people happy. One must only look at what people do” (Porter 460). We choose to work and make money to benefit our happiness.…

Memories Growing up and traveling to Mexico as a child I remember my mother always packing our old, outgrown clothes. She would pack pretty much everything we no longer used that was in fairly good condition. Jeans, shirts, dresses, shoes then she would go out and buy towels, jackets even, irons. I never really understood why we would take all these things with us. “They sold them in stores didn 't they?…

Also, it is misleading to mix between happiness as a wonderful feeling and the causes of happiness. For example, when I was in my senior year of high school, I applied to a scholarship to study in the US, but the acceptance rate was very low for international students. In fact, it was that station of my life, where I exerted all my mental and physical effort in order to gain this golden opportunity to study what I love. Despite the fact that it was truly hard to get this scholarship, I was one of those five students who got the scholarship. I was in my room in my high school dorm when I received the scholarship acceptance notification.…

Money and material possessions does not lead to happiness because some people that are rich and have many nice things like cars and others could still be depressed. Also because someone could have money, but could also have a mental illness. For example, if a famous person is going through some metal problems and is not happy, but they still have money which is not making things better. Money could not buy friends for you to be happy and also family. This means that if you have real friends and family you wouldn't have to use your money to make them be your friend or family.…
