I still remember the day I started Fun Friday with my family. It all started when I got angry at my brother Joe “who does not live with us” but visit us every Friday. We would always get into these crazy fight about nothing and would always challenge each other with activities or board games. That is how we can vent ourselves of anger to each other. My brother Joe is the opposite of me, whatever I like he dislike and whatever I dislike he like. I was chubby and he was skinny, I was younger and he was older, I am shorter and he is taller, we were born differently, to not see eye to eye on things. Nevertheless, we both love to challenge each other and to win each other was a goal in life for us. One Friday, Joe came over and we were watching football and relaxing. When all of a sudden my favorite team pops up, “my team is looking fine and I bet this time that they are going to the super bowl,” I said. “What, heck no my team is going to the super bowl.” This went on for some time and went off topic until I told him, “I bet you can’t even win me on monopoly.” “Come on lets go,” shouted Joe. I turn to the left and my mom and dad smiling and talking silently to each other trying to devise a plan to win Joe. On the back of my parent were my three sister rooting for my parent to win. Not far from where my three sister is are my five brother rooting for my Joe to win. My heart was at ease and I could not think of a better way to end my Friday with the ones I love. To think that this became a family game due to I who hated my brother and challenging him to a board game just so I can win him, cause this crazy thing that brought all of my family together. I decided to call it Fun Friday and we stick with that name ever
