A Forbidden Journey Ever since I was in middle school my friends and I always talked about what college was going to be like. The responsibility of finally being on your own without parental supervision. I always wanted to go to a university, stay in a dorm, and even join a sorority. Having that freedom as simple as eating ice cream for dinner, staying up late, and having friends stay over on school nights was what I was looking forward too. I had the perfect vision from the color of my dorm to the university I wanted to attend but my mom had plans for me otherwise. When I began high school I began looking at universities that had my degree. I began talking to my mom about all of my options. My mom wanted me to go to Cuyahoga Community College,
