Zack mejia Weeked Over a mother’s day weekend, I went to my grandma’s house, and we spent a wonderful time fishing there. We fished all day long, and tried to catch multiple different types of fish. Next, lunch was served and it was delicious. After lunch, we fished on the boat, and then we fished on the dock. I wanted to catch a gigantic fish, and I was extremely excited to reel in a whopper. When we arrived, my grandpa's brother and sister were spending the day with them as well. The day was full of adventures that included trying to catch enormous fish, swimming and paddle boarding with my brother, and splashing and having a wonderful time with my family. Once we arrived, I caught three crappies, one bass, and nine sunfish. The bass I caught was …show more content…
We could not keep it because it was not bass season yet. That made me a little mad. The wonderful news came that it was the right time to keep the three crappies and nine sunfish. We caught numerous fish that day. When my brother and I were on a big paddle board, I would paddle fast and get him drenched with the lake water. He would be furious with me when I splashed him with water, some times when I splashed him he pushed me in the lake.So when he kept doing that i was like alrighty it is your turn. so I went to the deep end and picked him up and threw him like a bunny. We were on the paddleboard by our dock, and there was a large boat nearby. We were having a glorious time playing fetch with our two dogs. The dogs would run quickly in the lake and make large splashes near the boat and it scared all the fish away. Since the dogs were splashing, it made the other people in the boat angry, and they left. After they left, the boat made massive waves, and we used the waves to surf on, but my brother fell off. Next, when he tried to crawl back onto the paddle board,

The boy was haunted by the fact that that bass would have been the biggest fish he had ever caught up to that point in his life. In addition to being the biggest fish he had ever seen, the bass was also the strongest fish the boy had ever gotten on his line, since it pulled and tugged it’s way through the water all the way to the venue. Because the narrator chose to keep his date with Sheila going, he lost his chance to brag about catching this fish. I, too, can relate to making a bad decision. My bad choice wasn’t letting go of a fish, however, it was choosing to cheat on a spelling test that I didn’t study for in 2nd grade.…

My family and I started out the weekend by going fishing. We fished many hours and we hooked into some nice crappies. Our family’s seasonal camper on Lake Shamineau is where we spent most of our time fishing. Routinely spotted were large northern pike and muskies all while looking for schools of crappies and walleyes. Quietly trolling for walleyes, I happened to snag a small fishing rod.…

We turned around because we only had 4 hours left on the Mississippi River. We lost most of are bait so we have to use this last piece of bait wisely so we cut it into three pieces and put one on the spinner. We lose it after a school of Brook Trout came by and caused a tide and we lost the first third of our last fish. We put the second piece on to get a fish on. “Fish On number four coming right up,”I yell at Grandpa.…

It was fairly slow going after that, with some sort of large fish following my fly or spinner in on each cast but never committing (I'd later find out they were Striped Bass). Finally, something bit and while it didn't fight too well I was excited, it was my very first walleye (very amusing considering I grew up on Lake Huron-currently a walleye hotspot). Lake Powell has no limits on either Walleye or Striped Bass due to their predatory effect on bait fish and their rapid proliferation, so I bonked this one on the head and proceeded to less-than-expertly fillet it. Trout and walleye for dinner!…

Every time I go ice fishing, I hope for the fish that I have lost so many times. This all elusive fish that bites so few times, will haunt me in my sleep the day before I go fishing. Before I get to the lake, I will think about catching the monster fish. It doesn’t bite every time I go fishing. It may bite once every 10-15 times I go out.…

It all began when I was just a young boy. I didn’t have a clue about what the true meaning of fishing was. I only saw it as a way to pass time and a way to get a farmers tan. Little did I know, the time I spent fishing with my father would teach me a life lesson that I would remember the rest of my life. The way that the line spins through your hands, the way that the sun hits your face, and…
