One happening during a day at the dirt track. It started well enough, my brother and I arrived early and were racing around worry-free. Eventually, the newly added sand section got the best of me. I was bored of taking that specific part slowly, so I worked up a little bit of courage and rode hard through the sand. Unfortunately, the sand kept putting me into the ground. I may as well have been driving on ice because the sand grains nulled my traction. On my last run, I fell hard, breaking the clutch in the process. Frustration had already set in by this point, and now I had a broken bike. My temper showed and I kicked my own bike a few times as it lay on the ground. This little tantrum is a good example of the frustration-aggression principle. Simple frustration can lead to aggressive tendencies (). The repeated drops were made worse by the fact that the sand turned an easy section into a less than welcoming obstacle. Black Friday shopping always seems to me like the worst decision anyone can make. If you’re out shopping and eye the same TV as another person be ready for a fight. I believe this is because people feel deindividuated. Deindividuation occurs when people join a mass of others who generally have the same goal(). Black Friday creates mobs of people all out to find items for cheap. Most of those videos on the internet will show people yelling, shoving one another, and generally being belligerent. What was shocking in one video from this year was that it depicted Black Friday shopping in other parts of the world. Those people calmly meandered about the stores and were greeted by employees with claps and cheers. Here in America, as soon as the doors open, a literal flood of shoppers powered by a lack of responsibility and anonymity clean out stores. Bless the souls who brave Black
