Narrative Essay About Conformity

Have you ever felt the urge to go out and do something spontaneous? Or ever thought about doing something that you might regret one day in the future? One Friday night after a long busy night, we got the crazy idea to do something illegal. That night we chose rebellion over conformity. Every time I think about it I just laugh or think why did we do that? Why did we have the crazy, stupid, idea to do something that could have potentially got us in trouble? That night we were just ready to do something fun, after working hard at work. There were so many questions baffling in the air that night like, “Are we really doing this?”, or “What if we get caught?”. We were so anxious about everything, that I got scared, we could have got caught and what we would have told our parents? What would we do? So many thoughts went through my head, and I’m sure there were many thoughts going through their head as well. I got up, left, and met my sister for breakfast the next morning; when I met her at the restaurant, and I just had to tell her what we did. She said we were crazy and shouldn’t have done that, but we weren’t thinking at the time. Later on that day I got a text from the person and they were so mad at the fact we did what we did. I told him I didn’t do it and he threatened to call the cops. So, I eventually told him it was me and, I think he came up with this story of calling the cops just to try and scare me. He also said he made an appointment with a car garage to look at the damage, but he never went. He never talked to me until the summer time came along. I eventually got grounded from doing it and getting to do anything all summer
