Cinderella
I had found a grieving man longing for a new wife,he charmed me and brought me in along with my two daughters from my previous husband.He had already had a child, my step daughter, Cindrella.Cindrella did not seem like a bad child she simply spent her time grieving over her mother, which I understand. She was a poor child along with her dad. I did not come from a rich family but we have been living a normal life.I lost a decent sum of money on my old husbands funeral,we still have our belongings to go on until we are able to save up more money.My stepdaughters and I mainly have our clothes and dresses left from balls I would go to with my old husband. we have had a little trouble settling in for we are not used to this life.When I saw that Cinderella had nothing to do I put her to work, I know it sounds rough but we were all too …show more content…
Everyone would only laugh at you."Cinderella began to cry, and then I said, "You may go if you are able to pick two bowls of lentils out of the ashes for me in one hour," thinking to myself "She will never be able to do that.” I felt bad for what I was doing I just simply couldn’t let her go to such a big festival for I knew she would feel bad having people laugh at her.She ran off to the garden off thinking that she would be able to pick out the lentils. She came back ,after only half an hour, with 2 bowls filled.The festival was growing closer and I couldn't let her come. I told her “"It's no use. You are not coming with us, for you have no clothes, and you don't know how to dance.”, I told her people would be ashamed.I then left with my 2 daughters and my husband; leaving Cinderella
