The Christmas Journey It was a wet, snowy, Christmas day when Paige woke up early in the morning.Paige was a beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed girl that was short and thin. She was the only child in her family, so she always got the biggest and best presents every year. Paige was also a very spoiled little girl. She never had to do any chores or clean up after herself, since she was an only child.
This year, a couple days before Christmas, her parents told her that her present wouldn’t even fit in the house and that she didn 't get very much. About half way through the show they opened the door with sad looks on their faces. When, they got into the living room to find Paige sitting there watching TV their faces soon brightened. They ran up to her and hugged her. They both couldn 't believe that there little girl was safe and at home now. Later on that night the rest of her family came over to have dinner and give each other gifts. While at the dinner table she told everyone about the towns she had went to, and the boy who said, he had seen her horse before. The whole family said,” We have never heard of this town before, and that it was nowhere near here.” Paige was now very confused on how she ended up in another town far away. She then thought about how the boy said, “The saddle was magical.” At around midnight, after everyone had left Paige went out to the barn and noticed that the horse was acting a little weird compared to earlier that morning. Paige didn’t think much of it, so she went back to the house. Before she went to bed she told her parents that she was very sorry for the way she just ran off and was upset about all of the presents. “I think that I should take all my old things and give them away to the kids that don 't have anything,” Paige said. “We are so proud of you Paige, if you want to do that then we can,” said Hunter and
