The definition of a bully is someone who uses strength or power to harm/intimidate those who are weaker. People will always come across someone like this in their lifetime. Bullies can’t seem to just mind their own business, they tend to always judge other and/or put others down. Seventh grade at Taylor Middle School was a horrible time for me. My friends and I were always put down by Josh, the bully. This was constant until one day we all decided to stand up to this bully.
The middle school in Taylor is small. There are three hallways: The first hallway is the 100s and that is where the sixth graders were usually in; the second hallway is the 200s and that is the seventh graders; the last hallway is the 300s and, of course, those are the

I was bothered by it, but it was not as bad as before. I walked to my class in the third hallway where Josh always is. I had to admit I was kind of nervous, his looks he gave me were pretty suspicious. I glanced up at him, and when I did, I had caught him staring at me. I heart sank. I really didn’t wanna start anything, he seemed like he wanted to though. I kept walking and he passed by me. I sighed in relief. Then from the nurse’s office I was rushed to the emergency …show more content…

He followed me. “I want to apologize.” This caught my attention. I turned back to him. “Go ahead.” I said. “I just wanted to say that I am sorry for what I did. The way I acted towards you was unnecessary. I have small anger issues. Just so you know, I am also going to ISS for a week.” He smiled at me. His apology seemed sincere. “Thank you, I forgive you.”
Since that day me and Josh have gotten along pretty well. No more bullying and my friends have never been so happy. I haven’t talked to Josh in a while, we drifted apart after 8th grade. My experience has taught me that I have to deal with a bully a different way. The way I just kind of like pushed him and thought everything was over with was

“Hey there dude,” I said, playfully. “What’s up with that black eye?” During the late 1970s as I sat in my 7th grade world geography class, a classmate, Roger, who was small in stature, walked into our classroom, at least once a week, with a fresh black eye. My best friend and I used our childish behavior to laugh and poke fun at him. Back then, neither children nor their teachers had ever heard of the term “bullying.”…
