As school was dreadfully approaching the following week, my boyfriend and I were struggling to decide what to do for the weekend. While we can still go out on dates and spend time together, the majority of my time during the school year is spent fixating on academics while maintaining a job on top of that. Gabe and I wanted to do something adventurous that we wouldn't have the chance to do again for a while. Then, Gabe had an impeccable suggestion. He recommended that we should go camping again, to which I genially concurred. I was exhilarated to be able to take one last camping trip before having to return to school, but little did either of us know of the surprises awaiting us.

What was just a few miles away from our campsite, a group of black bears emerged from the woods. The mom and three cubs bustled across the street, pausing just long enough for us to make an everlasting memory for us both.
Albeit this is one out of many stories from this past summer, it is definitely one I will not forget. On the trip home from our new Jocassee campsite, Gabe and I could not help but to laugh at the events that had taken place. It was a trip full of unfortunate events, but it was an experience to remember for future adventures together and I wouldn't have wished to go through it with anyone
