I am Snow, daughter of King Louis and sister of Prince Chance. I live in The Kingdom of Ice where everything revolves around death and crime. Normally, the lone wolf on the outskirts of the clan would stay far away from the place he was cast from. That day wasn't any special occasion, but lost in thought, he had strayed far away from his original path, bringing him much closer to his brethren than he liked. The white spiral on his paw gave him away, branded him as accursed, made him the target of the superstitious wolves of the Golden Paw Mountain. His own brethren turned on him and tried to drive him out.…

Outside the world was still except for the weeds that swayed with the frosty breeze and the occasional howl of victory from a wolf who got his prey. In the stillness of the frigid night, behind twisted, pale trees, a dark silhouette emerged from the shadows. He passed under jagged crystals while his breaths, for a moment, hung suspended in front of him before they disappeared. The snow melted under the weight of his strides and the chilly wind clung to his grime covered skin, not hidden underneath the filthy army blanket on his shoulders.…

Born and brought up in the North, snow was the only ground he knew. Consequently, when Tesla woke up to an unfrozen ground with a warm sun beating down on fur that had never been purged of its ice, he abruptly knew that something was amiss. This was nowhere close to the place he called home. Instead of tundra stretching out in all directions, there was a covering of fragile green that crinkled underfoot and tickled his nose as he breathed in its scent. Familiarity came with the evergreens and the mountain peaks spiking up against a blue sky.…
