Narrative Essay About Being Bad

Being short has its pros and cons, but the worse of it is when you run into things because you are not paying attention to what you’re doing and you end up messing yourself up really bad. When i was in the fifth grade, one day I was outside with some friend and i ran into the back of a car and messed up my teeth horrendously bad. Then after going to the emergency hospital that same night, two days later I went to a dentist office to get surgery on my teeth. If I could tell you one thing, I would say that karma is truly something, it’s good and sometimes it’s truly bad to you. It was on a school day, I wanted to play outside with my friends instead of practicing for my fifth grade performance I had the next day at Horn Intermediate School. …show more content…
My sister came out of her room, walked in the living room to see what Dareus and I was doing. She quickly gathered that something was wrong and came up to me; saw that my teeth were messed up, and gasped while screaming for my mom. Almost immediately, if not before my sister even called for her, I could hear my mom running towards us trying to see what’s wrong with me. I remember seeing her in front of me with this distraught face, with fear for the worst in her eyes, attempting to gather on how it happened, how I am feeling, if I’m in pain and everything else that a worried mother does when her offspring is in need. As my mom was panicking and trying to call an emergency hospital, my dad comes up to me and starts to ask me questions and all types of things. As all this was going on, I was doing my best to try and answer them and attempting to keep myself focused on my mouth and doing as much as possible to keep myself from thinking about it hurting. Ten to fifteen minutes later, that’s including me getting sat down on the couch and everything else happening , we were all in the car on the way to the emergency …show more content…
I remember myself watching Harry Potter on the ABC channel when the doctor walked in the room. I’m sure you know how doctors work, they come in; introduce their selves and all that good stuff. After gathering all of the information from my mom, he then walks up to me and analyzes my mouth, a few moments later he goes to grab a glove, puts it on, comes back to me then press down on the two teeth that were up. When I say I had felt the most excruciating pain ever in my life, I kid you not, I passed out for a good five seconds while simultaneously screaming in agony. It felt as I had got hit the teeth with a bat by professional baseball player. After the doctor had got done pressing a hundred ton weight on my teeth, he sat down and talked to my mom about me getting surgery on my mouth and gave her some medicine for me to take until it was time for me to go get

It’s only been a few month since the United States elected our new President John Anderson, but little did we know he would soon be ruining innocent lives. Today is the day me and my best friend Katie found out about “The Toxic Shot” and that it would be used to kill every woman in the United States. At first we looked at each other and thought this was some type of sick joke but then we kept paying attention to the TV and found out how and why the government would do such a thing. Suddenly the president's face showed up on the screen and he started talking, “Hello ladies and gentleman of the US I have an announcement to make, I think that women are unnecessary and needy, This is why I have decided to get rid of them once and for all, if…

No matter what, every single day somebody is being judged and labeled. Whether or not a person is overweight, underweight, mentally challenged, we are all being judged. Furthermore, growing up in a conservative, white, Christian family, has taught me many things about how I am expected to act, as well as which actions are acceptable or unacceptable. My culture and religious views molded me into believing that it was acceptable to judge others and be intolerant of different groups of people. In my family, you were expected to wait until married to have sex, then it was appropriate to have a child.…

It’s easy to judge someone before you know them maybe the boy who was interrupting or jumping out of his seat and doesn’t pay attention in class isn’t a bad kid or a trouble maker. Before assumptions are made, maybe there are reasons why some kids or adults may act the way they do. The old saying of “don’t judge a book by its cover” has much meaning when it comes to only seeing the outside of someone. Personal Narrative Why is failure the best teacher? I am going to answer this question using personal stories as examples. Failure is the best teacher because no matter what it changes a person, if someone fails and gives up it shows them that they didn’t really want to succeed badly in the first place, if someone fails and uses their failures to then succeed than they learned what it took to make their endeavour go right. We learn from failure by deciding how we are going to react to it and depending on that reaction, it can be a large change, or a small change.…

It was summer, one month after my 17th birthday, and, even though I had a lot of great adventures with the people I loved, I still wasn 't satisfied. So I took of work, grabbed my two best friends, Trey and Parker, and we set out on nonstop adventure for 3 days, which led to a Whataburger bill of over $100, running from security, meeting and talking to complete strangers, 4 hours of sleep, killer stories, a run in with the cops, a few tanks of gas, and what would this story be with coming close dying once or twice, I mean its only in my nature.…
