Narrative Essay About An Accident

He has pitch black hair and deep, blue eyes, he is 5'11, and is 15 years old. Now he looks a lot different after what had happened the year before. He had just learned to walk again on his own. He had been in a dirt biking accident at the dirt biking park that was in town. He and his friend were riding their dirt bikes last year. While he and a friend were racing, his friend hit a lump on the ground, which caused him to lose control of his bike and he hit him. He went flying in the air and when he came back down, he came down with a thud. When he hit the ground, he was unconscious, and you could barely hear his breathing. They grabbed his phone that was lying in his bag and dialed 911 and told them that they needed an ambulance. When they …show more content…
When the ambulance arrived, they loaded him onto a gurney and put him in the back. They took him to the hospital as fast as they could. As soon as the ambulance left, his friends got in their car and started following them. As they were following the ambulance, they called my parents. We were at the house when we got the call, and our parents started panicking. We got in the car and drove there as fast as we could to the hospital to see my brother, Blake, lying on a bed with IVs in his arms and a ventilator in his mouth. He was still unconscious. When he came out of his long and tiring operation, he was still asleep. While he was in surgery, my parents had called all of our relatives and told them what had happened. All of the relatives that were told came to see Blake. His friends were still there when he awoke. They all left after an hour or so of him being awake. His surgery had taken them three hours to perform …show more content…
Then the doctor came in and pulled my parents outside of the big, unappealing hospital room. He came back in and took Blake back to the emergency surgery section. Our parents came back in the room, crying and told us that Blake's concussion was a lot worse than what they had thought. When his head had hit the ground, his brain had started to bleed. They didn't think that he was going to live because of how dangerous it was, and if he did then he would have to learn how to walk again. Right after, they told us they called up all of our relatives and told them about what the doctor had said about Blake. When Blake got back in the room, he looked worse than he had ever looked before. He looked so weak and tired, his bruises and cuts looked worse than they had the first day. The nurses had to keep a close eye on him throughout every
