Everything was new. Every time I was out there I would meet new family members and go to new places. There were two cities in Tennessee we would visit, Chattanooga and Winchester. Chattanooga was my favorite place to go to as a little kid. It was like a city and it felt like home. Everything was close by unlike Winchester. It was where my Grandma Aluh lived. Now that I'm older I cherish her so much. She is so beautiful and soft and wrinkly she is truly amazing. Her house was truly old. To this day her house is the same. Nothing has changed, not her furnisher or her sheets. Her day consist of waking up taking her rollers out of her head and sit down on her favorite chair by the window and just stare. I always wonder what she thinks about while she is staring out the window. We would also go visit my Aunt Juhwona. She really was not my Aunt but my cousin but since the age difference I just call her my aunt. Juhwonna had one daughter, which is my cousin, named Rauelle. Rauelle was her twin she looked just like her mom and act the same too. One word I would describe Rauelle is grown. She never stays in a child’s place. It was simply sad. Everyone was hurt and confused. Why is it that my Grandad was only 62 when he sided because a white teenager was texting and driving and did not look up from his phone for 30secs? I do believe everyone was more hurt because it was not due to an illness or sickness but from a teenager that was selfish. We did not get justice. Since my grandad lived in the deep south the teenager got a slap on the wrist with just probation. He took a whole mand life and all he is probation. A year later my Uncle Ronnie died because of an illness. My Grandma Alluh is still alive and lived past all of her sons. Now I know why she stares out the window.
