While on patrol, I made cotact with a black Nissan Maxima in Sunset Villas fitting the description of an unauthiorize use, from our agency. I ran the tag through dispatch and they advised that the unauthoized use was confirmed. I made contact with the offender(Richard Javoris Stringer) at an unknown address in Sunset Villas. There weren't any warrants signed on Stringer. I then made contact with the victim(Richard Jerome Stinger) via cell phone. Jerome was advised of what was going on. Jerome advised that he had already talked to his son and that they made an agreement that he would bring it home.
The vehicle was removed from NCIC.
