I opened the rusty door, and I peaked inside the dark and dusty cabin. Even though the moon was at its fullest, its light couldn’t even freckle a glimpse of light into the pitch dark cabin. Eerie was the only word that came to mind, the only word in my mind, the only word that made sense. I put my left foot in, and instantly a cold shiver drifted down my spine. I furiously turned around only to discover that there was nothing there. Just bank empty space. The Cold sensation had completely dispersed.
“Must be nerves” I whispered, But the back of my head knew better. Instincts was something that guided me in life. Everything that I had done in life, decisions and more were all based on my instincts. I had made decisions like dropping out of school and joining the state tennis team, not out of knowledge or thinking it through, but instinct just plain old’ gut instinct. James Parker woke up, drowsy like a bear coming out of slumber. He scratched his chin, sat up from the Cushioned mattress he was sleeping on and looked to his right. His son was lying beside him on a similar mattress. The night’s moon lit up their yellow tent, he looked at his watch and it read 5.37 am. He almost forgot that his son and he had gone camping for one night at silver shore forest. He put his hand on his son and shook him, but it seemed like his son was fast asleep. James then murmured to himself “Bad dream.” He rested his head on the light and fluffy pillow he had slept and quickly went back into a deep sleep. The son opened his eyes, dark, evil and red.
