Throughout the coarse of my life, I have been searching for a challenge. I wanted to know who I was, and what I was really made of. It didn't matter to me whether this challenge came mentally of physically. About 6 years ago I found what I was looking for. The toughest sport know to man, wrestling. Wrestling has always been a challenge, physically and mentally; however, three years ago my true test came to me. That was getting a new coach. I would quickly find that he was a young tough strong willed individual that would push me further than ever before. His name is Nick Milano. I kept it in the back of my mind that I was gunning for that title. Sadly, I lost at the state tournement. After grieving for the rest of that weekend, I knew what I had to do. I went right back to work. It is the start of my senior season and I haven't stopped working since that day I got home. Practice after practice. Workout after workout. Day after Day. I haven't stopped thinking about what could have been, and keep looking forward to what will be. This is am ongoing battle that I am ingaged in, and only time will tell that outcome. All throughout my time in this beloved sport I have faced many challenges and adversity. They have all been for the better. I knew that if I could make it through wrestling as one of the

The most underrated and underappreciated sport is professional wrestling. Close minded people turn away from this form of entertainment because they hear and believe it to be described as “fake”. This is not only offensive to the performers and athletes in the ring, but it is an ill word to describe a sport where athletes are risking their bodies three to four times a week whenever they step through the ropes.
