It 's true when they say love works in mysterious ways. lt was June 3rd of 2012 when I received a call. When I saw him, his face was swollen and purple with scratches all over from where he had fallen. He had a huge puncture wound from where one of the motorcycle pieces stabbed him on his shoulder. I couldn 't help but be scared when I saw him. He looked at me and just kept repeating everything over and over. He said, "Hey don 't tell my mom Mimi", "I love you sister”, “My head hurts”. He was no longer at my mother’s house and had no one to take care of him. So I decided to take care of him for a few weeks, since it was summer break. I stayed at his roommate’s house with my brother for about 2 weeks helping my brother with taking his medications fixing his pillows to be comfortable and things like that. During that time his roommate Rafael and I got to know each other more and more he was a cute, smart, and a dork who was very funny. One night we stayed up all night trying to see who would fall asleep first, we ended up talking all night about our lives, what we like to do and who we know. After that we started to hang out more and more and decided to go on our first real date one June the 12th.We went on a dinner date and to the park . After dinner he took me to the park and sat me down on a swing and he asked me to be his girlfriend.
