Buttery popcorn rolling around from the wind, soda cans flowing out of the trash cans. The fans cheering and booing at the refs, and the big bright light that cover the whole entire stadium. All of these things describes my friday nights, at the Waddell Stadium for football. Some people say football is boring and confusing, but to me I love watching my brother make big tackles. Even if they lose, I still have a smile on my face, because my brother, Joe, always makes me proud no matter what happens.

“ Set...Hut” the Byron Center Bulldog’s quarterbacked. I could feel my heart like a dream. pounding as they play began. The other team was so close to reaching Zack Saltzgaber, our quarterback. My palms were getting to be warm and sweating, but luckily the freezing winds were cooling them down. Finally, Zack threw the ball, it flew with the wind, spiraling, it was a great. What seemed like minutes, was only seconds, but it felt like everything was in slow motion. Number 21 was running down the field, trying to catch up with the ball. Isaac Ambrose finally got open from the other guy who was guarding him. The ball flew and spiraled perfectly right into his arms. Everyone jumped up with loads of excitement. Isaac sprinted to the end zone, fast as a race car. The student section was very loud, but the rest of the crowd was even louder.
Even a hour after the game my dad and I were still blabbering about how it was an amazing game. Also so happy for Joe, if he hadn’t tackled the guy so hard, we probably hadn’t won. Even if we didn’t win, I so very proud of Joe, and everyone else on the
