The group members knew of this but none truly paid it any heed except for Andy. The group leader, with the longest sobriety, perhaps because he experienced it with other members or he himself. However he was the most concerned with the group disbanding and paranoid about our reason for choosing to watch the group. For example, In one of the meetings two moms in the group without babysitters brought their two toddlers. The boy and the girl were running up and down the aisle, crying, fighting and yelling. Immediately after the meeting Andy sought me out, “I am sorry about the kids, because what we do here is important, we can’t have kids running around,” he hesitated, “it’s very unprofessional and the people here are sick, you wouldn’t see this at any other meeting. It won’t happen again” He reiterated. I thought nothing of it and thought the kids were indeed charming and cute and a refreshing break from the gloom in the group. At the next meeting, Andy brought up the idea with the two mothers sitting
