Narcos is a TV series that tells the story of the notorious drug kingpin, Pablo Escobar. He became a billionaire through the production and distribution of cocaine. The main actors of Narcos are, Pablo Escobar, Gustavo Gaviria, Tata Escobar, Hermilda Gaviria, Limon, Steve Murphy, Javier Pena and Horacio Carrillo. The TV series was produced by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro. Narcos was originally aired on August 28, 2015 and had ratings a six out of six. The introduction of the characters in the show Narcos was superb. They introduce Pablo Escobar, the drug kingpin who was the head of the Medellin cartel. Gustavo Gaviria, who was Pablo’s cousin, helped him control the Medellin cartel. The producer introduced Tata Escobar, the spouse of Pablo. Most importantly showed Pablo’s personal hitman, Limon. Limon was the main reason why the Medellin cartel was successful, he carried out orders to eliminate potential threats to the cartel. Limon ordered to murder about three thousand people. Javier Pena and Steve Murphy were DEA agents who the United States sent to help the capture of Pablo Escobar. Horacio Castillo was the chief of the Columbian police, who …show more content…
The events that happen in the show are historically accurate. They show how he was introduced to the cocaine industry and how he began to produce it. Pablo Escobar had about nineteen laboratories and smuggled tons of cocaine into the United States. Although Pablo Escobar didn’t get an education, he was quite a clever person. He smuggled cocaine numerous ways, such as in air planes, air plane tires, boats, and truck tires. On the other hand, Pablo was praised by thousands of people, he was elected as one of the members of the Chamber of Representatives of Colombia.
