Joshua Foster, Ilan Shira, and Keith Campbell researched sexuality and the link to narcissistic tendencies within the context of close relationships (Foster & Shira & Campbell, 2006). The study analyzed undergraduate participants whom the majority were in a committed relationship (Foster & Shira & Campbell, 2006). The Narcissistic Personality Inventory was tools used by the researchers determine the level of narcissism among participants (Foster & Shira & Campbell, 2006).
