Psychological Disorder Therapy Report: Narcissistic Personality Disorder Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is a psychological disorder classified by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) as one of the 10 personality disorders. Unlike other disorders, there is no utilization of laboratory, blood or genetic tests in diagnosing NPD. Instead, they look for signs and symptoms, facilitate a thorough psychological evaluation through interviews and questionnaires, and physical exams.
