Anyone can argue either side of the argument but Napoleon is seen through many historians’ eyes as a hero because of his many accomplishments such as restoring france’s economy, the expansion of french territory, and the infamous napoleonic code. France’s economy was horrible before and unlike previous leaders, Napoleon created fair taxes, increased trade, and a central bank to control money. This built France’s economy and finally gave them the stability needed.
