Above is an iconic photograph, depicting children in flight from a napalm bombing. This photograph was taken in the Trang Bang District in 1973, and was photographed by Huynh Cong Ut, professionally known as Nick Ut. Nick Ut was employed by the associated Press (AP) and through his professional abilities, has gained a high level of fame. Additionally, he won the Pulitzer Prize for Spot News Photography, the world press photo of the year award, and the world press photo award for spot news, all in the year of 1973.

This photograph tells the story of the napalm bombs that were accidentally dropped in the Trang Bang village by the North Vietnamese troops. The center of interest of this photograph draws us to a young nine year old girl running
