During the fire she was trapped in the building but was ultimately saved by Tasuku. Her rescue is what drove her to want Tasuku’s attention and before he left for America the two dated. Having found a solid relationship Mamimi abandoned Firestarter and instead invested herself in Tasuku, this made his departure even harder on her than Naota. It was Tasuku’s abandonment that drew Mamimi and Naota together as they both found comfort within each other. However to Mamimi Naota is nothing more than a placeholder for Tasuku, this is clearly seen by how Mamimi refers to Naota as “Takkun” Tasuku’s nickname. Mamimi, to Naota served as a reminder of Tasuku’s presence, she also served as a reminder that he still lived in his brother’s shadow.
