Writing in the Biomedical Engineer Field Writing is a universal language in communicating information to one another. It is used every day to keep track of simple tasks and information in our busy lifes. Writing comes in a variety of different methods, from a shopping list, to a proposal on the newest pacemaker on the market; therefore, we change our method of writing to meet the intended audience. Every field of study has its own ways of writing. In the Biomedical engineering field, writing can take on multiple avenues. To better understand Biomedical engineering and the way they write we need to understand what they do. According to a quick Google search of “What do Biomedical engineer do” we get a small paragraph by Life Science stating “Biomedical engineering, or Bioengineering, is the application of engineering principles to the field of biology and health care.” This information shows that not only does a Biomedical apply the mechanical application of engineering, but the biomedical engineer is also involved in the medical and science studies.
