The murders she committed occurred between 1927 and 1954, which is about 27 years (Nannie Doss: The Giggling Nanny Timeline, n.d.) Her first two kills out of eleven were two of the four daughters she had with her first husband, Charles Braggs, according to Estephe (1970). In 2015, Unkenholz wrote that the next death at the hands of Nannie was Charles Braggs’s mother. Bella stated that Nannie killed two of her grandchildren, then her second husband Frank Harrelson (2013). Arlie Hanning, her third husband, and his mother were soon killed (Estephe, 1970). After the death of Arlie Hanning, “Doss then moved in with her sister who also — you guessed it — mysteriously died” (Unkenholz, 2015). Nannie killed her fourth husband, Richard Morton, and her fifth husband, Sam Doss in the time span of only a year, according to Unkenholz
