Helen: Nancy Wake was a true hero. She took a huge stand. Sadly, so few know about her. This is her untold story. We open in Wellington, New Zealand, where Nancy Wake grew up. She was born in 1912, and ran away from home at age 16. Nancy Wake led her life from that point on. She moved to Paris, France, in order to become a journalist. While working a journalist she traveled through Europe and saw first-hand of the spreading of the Nazi’s ideology.

Grace drops her notepad. Jadyn picks it up. They stare at each other.*
Grace: Oh, pardon me. I’m Nancy Wake, nice to meet you.
Jadyn: Nice to meet you as well. I’m Henri Fiocca.
Grace: Your Henri Fiocca? As in the French industrialist millionaire Henri Fiocca?
Jadyn: Please, call me Henri. *Addy comes on* Oh meet Evelyn. Evelyn, Nancy, Nancy, Evelyn. *Pointing to the people as you say their name*
Grace: Hello Evelyn, nice to meet you.
Addy: Hello Nancy, nice to meet you too.
*Everyone leaves except Grace*

Then we do the “First Try! ” and “Second Try! and so forth until we reach the sixth try.*
Guard Kate: Well, time for the night shift.
*Grace sneaks past to the other side.*
*Helen re-enters the stage along with Kate and Jadyn.*
Helen: When Nancy got to England, she joined an organization group of 7,000 people. Only 39 of them were women. The group that she joined was called the SOE. The founder was Winston Churchill. It stood for, Special Operation Executive, which was a type of resistance. One of Nancy’s job was to gather the small resistance groups and combine them to make one big one.
Kate: While working at the SOE, Nancy Wake met a woman called Violette Szabo, and instantly became best friends. They worked together in their time in the SOE’s training.
*pretending to fight, Addy and Grace train with each other in the fighting portion*
Grace: *punches Addy*
Addy: Ow! Wow, you have improved lately! *throws punch at Grace’s head, as Grace
